Slakee collects nothing about you.
There is no account to create, no sign-in, and no server. The developer receives no data of any kind — not usage, not diagnostics, not crash reports. There are no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.
What the app stores, and where
Your ratings, tags, tuning nicknames, saved searches and string setup are kept on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, a copy is also saved to your own private iCloud database, in your own iCloud storage. That copy is readable only by you: the developer has no access to it and no way to obtain it. Turning iCloud off leaves the app fully functional — you simply have one fewer copy of your own data.
The microphone
The tuner listens to your instrument to show which note each string is sounding. Audio is analysed on your device, in real time, and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere. The app asks for microphone access only when you open the tuner, and everything else works without it.
The tuning data
The catalogue of tunings ships inside the app. It needs no network connection, and using the app sends no requests to the developer or to anyone else.
In-app purchases
Tips and skins are bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment; the developer never sees your name, payment details or Apple ID. Which skins you own is kept by Apple and your device, not by the developer.
If you email us
If you write to the support address, we receive what you choose to send — your email address and your message — and use it only to reply. Nothing is sent from the app on its own.
Children
The app collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear at this address with a new date.
